Multiple Macs
I bought Writer for my "main" Mac (having already purvhased
Writer for my iPad and iPhone). Terrific so far. I then copied the
app to my wife's and my Macbooks. I create documents on the laptops
but I cannot save them, to iCloud or their file systems. I get a
rather obscure message saying autosave cannot be done until the
problem is resolved.
What is the problem? Is it that I have to purchase individual
copies for my laptops? If so can I get a bulk discount?!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems, and I apologise for the slow reply.
You can install Writer on another Mac by logging into your iTunes account in the App Store app, and installing from there. Please install via the App Store rather than copying the application. If you’re having problems saving after that, please let me know what the error message says exactly.
